Great split from two of STL's most exciting bands. Complainer side is a hyperactive slap of punked up rhythms and vox from Suen with fill city from Hess's drumkit. Moonrace side strips it back to (mostly) drums + synth tunes with Supersonic Soda sounding like something heard from the 8 bit era while Old Magnet Hands brings together Tinsley, Hess, and Suen for a beautifully chaotic drum/synth/sax jam to end the record.
Artwork by Curtis Tinsley is stellar as always, and the 7" looks rad. Brian Cryptonix

A sweeping, open-hearted pastoral, evoking (for this listener) not only the music of guitar soli, but the literature of Kent Haruf and the films of Kelly Reichardt, a love letter to the quiet grandeur of the American West. Admo
